Hello! I have been serving Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Prior Lake / Scott County area for 12 years. It is a pleasure to preach and teach about God's free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus!
One of my passions for ministry is Christian counseling. If you or a loved one is suffering in your spiritual or mental health, please consider giving me a call or stopping by the church. I also thoroughly enjoy teaching a basic Bible Information Class. If you're curious about what God's Word has to say, or if it's been a while since you last read it, I'd love to go through that course with you!
My wife Carin and I have two young children. We enjoy camping, board games, and traveling to see family in Wisconsin, Illinois, and California.
Staff Minister Ric Gibson
Hi! This is my second year as a Staff Minister at Faith Lutheran Church. I serve in the areas of Christian Education, Outreach to the Community, and Church Music. I especially focus on our congregation’s connection with the children and staff at New Creations Child Care & Learning Center in Prior Lake. It’s a pleasure to share Jesus with the children and help others in our church do the same thing.
My wife, Laura, and I raised 4 children and now enjoy being part of the lives of our 12 grandchildren. I enjoy music, especially playing guitar, and I enjoy traveling when we have the opportunity to visit family. I use my interest in music to sing songs with the children at Faith and with the children at New Creations. If you want to know more about our children’s ministry, I’d love to talk to you about it.
